Gentry Locke Names Lindsey A. Coley Partner
Gentry Locke Rakes & Moore, LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Lindsey A. Coley to Partner. Since joining the firm in 2007, her practice has focused on Labor & Employment and Trust & Estate matters. Lindsey advises private businesses and government contractors on employment-related compliance issues, responds to complaints filed with the DOL, EEOC and OFCCP, and develops employment policies and contracts to protect the interests of the employer. She also regularly advises individuals on issues relating to estate and trust administration and estate planning.

Lindsey has been a regular presenter at Gentry Locke’s annual Labor and Employment Law Symposium. She co-authored The Virginia Lawyer: A Deskbook for Practitioners, Chapter 13, Estate Planning and Estate Administration from 2008 through 2012, as well as What Women Really Want for the Virginia State Bar (VSB) Young Lawyers Conference Docket Call, and has contributed articles to the firm’s “Virginia Construction Law Update” blog.
Lindsey holds dual degrees from the University of Dayton, graduating with a J.D. from the School of Law and an MBA from the School of Business. Her undergraduate degree was earned magna cum laude from Elon University. She was named a Virginia Super Lawyers Rising Star in Employment & Labor law three years in a row. In addition to numerous pro bono projects, she is a member of the Board of Governors of the VSB Young Lawyers Conference and serves on the Board of Directors of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Conference and the Roanoke Valley Society for Human Resource Management.
